Google collects everything about us - this is no secret. However, when using their services we often forget this. They design their platforms so we don’t get constantly reminded of this reality. The most extreme example of this is Google Earth with its 3D function, where all people are deleted from the streets, in the name of “privacy”. All while Google tracks our location, records sounds from our microphones, collects our browser history and so on.

I created a tour in Google Earth that shows the empty world it has created, while also displaying what Google collects from one life in 3 minutes. The tour is downloadable, but here it is on video.
